Email programs can help people manage emails in several different ways: some are plain email clients, enabling one to send and receive messages, others are antispam filters, fending off unsolicited correspondence, others yet are tools that take up routine tasks and carry them out automatically, such as BEEE.
BEEE is an email utility that lets you automatically zip and attach files or folders from your PC and email them to a specified email address. You may need such a tool when you work with somebody on the same document and spend half the time working with the file and another half - sending updates to your colleague. Or you can email backup copies of documents, say, to your home PC from your workplace and vice versa. The tool can be scheduled to run once on a specified date or perform the tasks again and again at given intervals of time. You can also choose between sending emails directly from the program or via your default email client (Eudora, Outlook Express, etc.).
